Lower Churchill River Studies

Synexus Global® will be providing a fully configured installation of AUTO Vista to Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (NLH), as part of the Lower Churchill River studies.

The implementation will represent the NLH hydro facilities (4 rivers, 6 plants) and thermal facilities (5 plants) on the island of Newfoundland, several other private generation plants on the island, the Churchill Falls generating station on the Upper Churchill River, and the two potential plants on the Lower Churchill River. It will also model the major corridors of the HV transmission system, including the prospective DC line to link the island and mainland, as well as load centers and several export markets.

The modeling project will involve data acquisition, AUTO Vista configuration and testing, installation at NLH, and user training.
