Synexus Wins Water-Management Software Contract In Laos

The Synexus software will allow plant operators to efficiently manage the discharge of water from the power station via a downstream regulating reservoir.  The software will simulate the regulating pond trajectory and optimize the discharge flows to a downstream channel for up to a week in advance.

The scope of the contract includes planning, detailed design, programming, integration, installation, testing and commissioning of the software, as well as training, maintenance and ongoing support.

Construction of the dam and power facilities is almost complete, and the water-management software will be supplied by November, 2009.
