·        More Vista in California

Synexus Global has been contracted by a California power company to implement LT Vista and ST Vista to assist in planning of day-ahead marketing and operations, as well as to facilitate mid-term planning.

·        New Automated Calibration of Watershed Model

Dr. Tryggvi Olason of Synexus has recently developed an automated calibration procedure for the Inflow Vista module, which yields extremely fast calibrations of the numerous parameters, as well as best-possible accuracy. The new functionality enables automated calibration of parameters for the loss model (14), snowmelt model (10), evapotranspiration model (12) and the unit hydrograph (2).

·       Generating Unit Upgrade Studies

Hatch Acres has recently utilized AUTO Vista to simulate detailed hourly operations to assess the energy and revenue benefits that occur following a facility upgrade, such as a runner replacement.

·        2005 User Group Meeting

The 2005 User Group Meeting was hosted at the facilities of Tacoma Power, in Tacoma, Washington, on Thursday, Sept 8.

·        Vista Workshops

An intensive day of workshops was made available on Friday, September 9, on the day after the Annual User Group Meeting.
